The Mariner Wing concept diverges from traditional design and is focused on optimizing the balance point to provide an extremely stable, easy-to-dive platform. The Mariner 65 is sized specifically for 8-inch steel doubles with the capacity to carry multiple stages and deco bottles.

The Mariner’s extra wide oval shape wraps all the way around the sides of the cylinders to just below the top of the tanks, positioning lift higher in the water relative to the weight of the tanks. The result is much greater stability and a significantly more balanced experience in the water.

The Mariner’s curved sides keep gas at the highest point in the arc throughout the full spectrum of the trim range. This allows divers to hover at whatever angle they please without feeling like their wing is pulling them in one direction or the other.

The center panel of the Mariner is wide enough to fit standard metal backplate without pinching the aircell or the zipper against the cylinder wall. The width of this panel also functions to push gas to the sides of the tanks where it is most stable rather than underneath them.

The Mariner is constructed of a durable 1680 ballistic nylon material with SuperFabric® brand technology panels for added protection and abrasion resistance in high-wear locations. It is available in the diver’s choice of rapid exhaust or elbow, and in 12 or 16-inch corrugated hose lengths. Two 1-inch x 3-inch gauge pass-through grommets are provided for additional hose routing options. Made in the USA.
